Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Shopify Web Developer to support the development and enhancement of our clients’ Shopify stores. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Shopify’s platform, Liquid templates, and be eager to learn new technologies and techniques. You’ll work alongside our experienced developers, gaining hands-on experience with real-world projects while contributing to the success of small and large e-commerce businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and customization of Shopify stores.
- Implement and modify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Support the setup and configuration of Shopify apps to extend functionality.
- Collaborate with designers and senior developers to ensure seamless user experiences.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to store functionality, performance, and design.
- Maintain best practices in coding and ensure stores are optimized for speed and scalability.
- Stay up to date with the latest Shopify updates, features, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Basic experience with Shopify, including theme development and customization.
- Proficiency in Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and Shopify platform features.
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and communicate effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Experience with Git or other version control systems (preferred).
- Familiarity with Shopify apps and APIs (preferred but not required).
